The Versabuoy system is a novel combination of industry standard components. Downwards scalability appears to be excellent with a reduction in system structural weight while maintaining excellent motions performance. Similarly upwards scalability to very large combinations of modules to provide significant expanses of offshore real estate also appears to be feasible using this system.
